Hi Again!

Who am I in a nutshell?

A gamer, designer, content creator, avid reader, animal person, data enthusiast

My Personal Story

I'm Joseph-Albert (you can call me Joe). I was born and raised in Accra, Ghana.

I graduated from the University of Houston with a Bachelors In Business Administration In Management Information Systems (MIS). I came back home to Ghana where I later got my Masters of Science (Msc) in MIS.

I first started started off as an Information Security Auditor for three years before I decided to switch career paths to User Experience Design in 2015.

I started off as a freelance designer and starting a usability startup lab in 2016. I worked as a UX Designer for Flutterwave in 2017 before switching roles to Business Development Manager in 2019.

I worked at Jetstream Africa as a UX/UI Designer from 2021 to 2022.

I'm currently busy creating content for a leading digital tech news platform in Ghana called Tech Nova GH (Now Tech Labari)

With Tech Labari, I've written about the tech ecosystem and worked with different brands and companies including MTN, HMD (Nokia), Standard Chartered, Social Media Week and the Re:Publica.

In 2023, we rebranded Tech Nova to Tech Labari to highlight more stories in Africa and to focus on new media content including podcasts.

Here's the backstory of how I built up Tech Labari:
