A re-designed website for the Jetstream Africa which focuses on Jetstream's solutions and connects to Jetstream's online product
To redesign Jetstream's landing page to highlight the company's background and products and research
Jetstream Africa is a logistics company that provides air, land and sea transportation services in Africa. As design lead, I worked with the product manager, design team, and front end developers to redesign company website which felt was outdated and did not fully showcase the company's products and services.
The team took on the challenge to revamp the website and create a user-friendly platform that would help Jetstream Africa better connect with their customers.
We conducted a thorough analysis of their current website and found the site lacked a clear hierarchy of information. It was not well-organized, which made it hard for users to find what they were looking for.
We spoke with Jetstream internal team and stakeholders to gather insights on what they liked and didn't like about the website, as well as what features and functionalities they would like to see in the new website.
Based on our research findings, the design team began the design phase. We created wireframes and prototypes to test different layout options and navigation structures. We made sure to focus on user-centric design, ensuring that the website was easy to use, accessible, and responsive across different devices.
One of the key changes we made was to simplify the homepage.
We also added a prominent call-to-action button on the homepage, encouraging users to sign up for our services. A "Request A Quote" was later added after feedback from customers
We also revamped the navigation structure to make it more intuitive. We organized the content into clear categories, making it easier for users to find the information they needed.
Finally, we focused on the aesthetics of the website, creating a modern and professional design that aligned with Jetstream Africa's brand identity.
Once the design was approved, we moved on to the development phase. We worked closely with the Jetstream Africa frontend to ensure that the website was built according to the design specifications.
During the development phase, we also focused on optimizing the website for speed and accessibility. We made sure that the website loaded quickly.
The redesign of the Jetstream Africa website was a success, resulting in a modern and user-friendly platform that has improved the user experience for their customers.
By focusing on user-centric design and simplifying the content and navigation structure, we were able to create a website that better reflects Jetstream Africa's brand and mission and showcase the company's new products and services to attract more users.
